【Zenith】だから僕は音楽を辞めた / That's Why I Gave Up On Music【歌ってみた】
My mom tells me that when I was a child and first heard the beautiful sound of a piano, I knew immediately that I wanted to play. The first few months of learning was a joy like no other... but that quickly began to fade when I became stressed keeping up with lessons, song practice, and exams. It was only a few years later that I quit taking piano lessons for good because I'd grown to hate playing. I didn't want to make music anymore... but deep down I still loved it. I just didn't like being forced to study for something that was supposed to bring me happiness.
Once I finished school, I slowly went back to playing the piano, but this time without the stress of lessons. I'll never become a professional pianist (unfortunately, my arm is too fucked for that after a drawing injury I never fully recovered from) but on days where I just don't know what to do, I'll clear my mind by sitting down at the bench and playing a song.
I still play piano on my desk, too.
